Vintage, vintage, vintage…. We can’t get enough of it! But what can you do to incorporate your passion for old stuff into your upcoming wedding? We gave it a go and you can check out the outcome below.
I personally am a keen collector of anything rustic and vintage, with old books about London and England and old travel writing pieces on South East Asia, being my very soft spot. I spend days at flee markets across London, with Camden Market being my absolute favourite, where I loose myself for hours looking for gems which interest me.
I wanted to share my passion for old and give it a new life by incorporating them into vintage styled photo shoot to show how you can create a tasteful and cohesive vintage look for your wedding. Books were the centre point of this styling as, together with my very talented decorator, we created masterpieces with gorge teapots, china milk jugs, pearls (ah those pearls!) and flowers you can find in gardens in England. Nothing goes better with vintage books than an old fashion typewriter, our reception table centrepiece. Your guests come into the venue and find your Welcome Note, typed on a Telegram to resonate with the overall style of the remaining parts of the stationery set.
We cannot forget of course, that this is Bali. We chose Ombak Luwung beachfront villa because of its beautiful Balinese architecture. In the morning of the shoot we asked Gods of Bali for their blessing, which turned out to be very generous.
